For Harp Fest NZ 2023, we had a fundraising book called 'The Aotearoa Summer Collection' and thanks to the very generous contributions from our Harp Fest NZ 23 guests and friends, it turned into an amazing book, and we raised over $2500 which went back into Harp Fest NZ 2023
and... we're doing it again.... |
From 1 September 2025, you will be able to purchase the latest edition of our fundraising book - raising funds for Harp Fest NZ 2026. It's only available until 1 May 2026, and then we give all the music back to the owners... that sounds a bit weird, but... we are exceedingly lucky to know a bunch of wonderful Harp Fest NZ guests, and friends and Harps Aotearoa Foundation supporters who willingly chipped in a contributed some really awesome music to our collection....
We know it's a bit of a tease.... so far we're only going to tell you the NZ composers who have works appearing in this book... but if you are a tourist to NZ for Harp Fest NZ this might give you some ideas of where you might like to travel to....

From the wonderful and windy capital city of Wellington, NZ....
Anna Christensen, Carolyn Mills and Michelle Velvin (photos above) These three lovely ladies are educators and very busy harpists around the city and the country, and all are composers of very interesting music..... Moving up the country to Te Puke, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty..... Jac Robinson A new harp composer, but an extremely experienced musician and someone who is dead keen on all things harp. Staying on the eastern seaboard and moving up to the Coromandel Peninsula to Hahei - more gorgeous white sandy beaches.... Elsa Klein Winner of the Harp Fest NZ 2023 Harp Competition and a fabulous young composer as well. And last, but not least we cross over the western side and to the gateway of the Coromandel Peninsula, Thames... Anna Dunwoodie and Len Salt, known locally as SaltWood. |
